Who are you (who, who, who who?) | Baby Photographer, Melbourne

Well, who are you? (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
I really wanna know (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
Tell me, who are you? (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
‘Cause I really wanna know (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)

I have had this song by The Who stuck in my head for days – mainly because I was catching up on some much neglected blog/website stat reviews, when I came across some wonderfully gorgeous people who had themselves blogged about me and my newborn and baby photography. I was blown away, truly. Particularly as I had never heard a peep from these people before, and yet here they were, taking the time to stop and write to the special people in their world, about my work. I felt flattered, actually –  more than that, I felt honoured. Speechless, in fact. I would have never known that they had done so had I not stumbled across them. But, it also made me realise there must be many people out there who may visit my blog without ever saying a word (and considering my stats, that’s the majority of you!).

So today, I challenge all of your silent visitors out there!!!! Drop in and say hello! Even if it’s just one word, I’d love to hear from you in the comments field on my blog below. Go on… it will take two seconds, I promise! :)   Whether you’ve never commented, commented once, comment occassionally or comment every time I blog (I appreciate it more than you know… x), I’m talking to YOU! Yes, YOU! Show me you’re listening ;)

Coincidentally, I’m also updating a new FAQ post for my blog shortly, so if there is some burning question you’ve wanted to ask me about anything (doesn’t have to be biz related) either pop it in the comments below, or send me an email.

Facebook Page
Don’t forget I also have a Facebook page that I also keep updated, so if you’re not already a fan via Facebook, make sure you come past, join and say hello!

I am a silent follower! An early childhood educator who is blown away by the way in which you capture children’s innocence, inquisitiveness, capabilities and pure joy! For years i have been tired and frustrated of seeing children dressed up and used as marketing models or toys, put into positions that even most of us “adults” wouldn’t want to be put in just so that someone could say “awww how cute!” Children are much more than cute! And you have an amazing knack of showing it! Thank you!

I only discovered you blog the other day. I’m a designer and very very (very very) amateur/beginner photographer who is currently undergoing IVF and longing for a baby of my own.

I read you entire blog in one hit and subscribed via RSS. I think your work is absolutely amazing! I’m about a year younger than you. I find your work, your business and what you’ve achieved very inspirational. I can’t wait to have one of your stunning photographs grace our wall.

But seeing as you were so encouraging, I just wanted to say I adore your work, and am constantly inspired by your style, and the quality of your work. Above all though, I adore the kind personal message you leave the parents at the end of each blog post, it melts me!

I am an occasional commentor, but checking your blog for any new entries is literally my first port of call when I turn on my computer each day. I love your work, but I also love the way you write! Your words have brought me to tears many times, especially when you write about your love for your children. I very much relate to you but cannot find the beautiful words that you do. If this photography thing doesn’t work out (yeah right!) you could be a writer for sure! I would love to know in your newest FAQ whether you did any type of training? As a self taught amateur, I am wondering what I should do next to learn more. Also, do you ever have a newborn session when the baby just will not sleep?? You make it look so easy but as I recently discovered…. it’s not! Can’t wait for your next FAQ instalment….

Hello, Kristen! I love your work! I am from Russia,Siberia, Novosibirsk. Been following your works and I can not but admire. I try, I try to achieve the same quality, color and extraordinarily beautiful photos. I have something to strive for. Only the weather is not luck, it is winter (-20), overcast, waiting for summer))) 3-4 times a week I go to your blog and admire.
    You are the best!
(I have a daughter in Milan, she was 1 year and 8 months, train on it). Hopefully, someday’ll do the same skin color)) It turns peach in natural light, when it is sufficient, but not at this time of year. Actually winter is obtained only by standing at the window (
I apologize for my English, I know its bad, I am writing through translator)))
Good luck to you all health and your family!

    With love, Tanya!

Writing from outside of Philadelphia, PA. Have been reading your blog for a while, maybe a year or so? LOVE IT! I have 5 children and while I LOVE kids, I really do not enjoy the baby stage so much. I feel like I am so tired that I miss all the tender moments. So looking at your pics make me feel the joy of babyhood without the sleepless nights, sore nipples and dirty diapers.
