So it’s a Friday morning… the sun is shining, the birds are singing.
It’s about 13 degrees celcius (brrrrrrr) and so yep, we go to the beach and eat icecreams like it’s 30 degrees, not 13! Lucky for me, Jack didn’t mind in the slightest. In fact, the battle was getting him back off the beach and away from the sand – he was quite content to sit and play there all morning I’m sure. The odd bribe here and there (amazing what effect stickers can have on three year olds) made things slightly easier, although pulling out the icecream at the end of the session was just what he needed.
What else do you do on a Winter morning?!
{It was really lovely to meet you this morning Rachael! Jack was a superstar – I love him!!}

Dear Kristen,
Thankyou so much for today! I know you had your hands full with Jack! How amazing are all of those shots! I love them all and from one photographer to another…I have to tell you, although I am sure you know
…that your ability to connect with kids is amazing and your beautiful composure is inspiring. I loved hearing about your journey and if you need someone to hold your hand at the APPA’s next year in Sydney, I’m your gal! Look forward to seeing the rest of the pics – You really have captured Jack perfectly. I was jumping with excitement when I saw the sneak peaks…They bought tears to Jack’s Dad’s eyes in the Philippines. Thankyou!
Kristen, these are beautiful….What a cutie pie!
Sorry I meant beautiful composition!! That’ll teach me for googling over the images at 1am!

Wow, Kristen, these images are absolutley fantastic! Just stunning!
I love all of these. What a great sessions. Your colours are magnificent. This little boy is a star – you can see it already. Love the last two, but they are all wonderfully wonderful.
So cool to hear that the month of July for you is winter and 13° is cold!! I’m over in Alberta, Canada and that is OUR hottest month of summer!! Our winter beach shots would be in January, with the sand covered in a foot of snow and the water frozen in a foot of ice!! Which could make for some nice shots too…
Gorgeous work Kristen! I so love it all!!
