What a way to finish | Melbourne newborn photography

*sigh*….

I am on such a beautiful high right now. I am sitting here looking over the images from today’s magical twin newborn photography session feeling so amazingly thankful. Thankful that my work gives me such joy, thankful that I was able to capture these tiny little newborn souls, thankful that I am about to welcome my own little miracle into the world any day now.

These two beautiful babes hold a very special place in my heart, and it was so fitting for me to end my work before maternity leave by photographing their newness. Their gorgeous parents were also patients of the same fertility specialist as we were, and just being able to finally meet these two miracles, let alone have the honour of photographing them, was privilege enough for me. It’s always sentimental for me when I hear that some babies were loved for so long before they even existed and when parents fight with every fibre of their soul to bring their babies into being, and today’s session was no exception. It’s this beauty and power, this love and connection and here I was… amongst it all today, capturing a little tiny piece of their wonderful lives to come.

Please meet the incredible Thomas and Emma…

these are some of my favourite photos of yours ever. I am only beginning (from this and your other twin photoshoot) to realise how amazing twins are. Your photos make them seem like two halves of the one soul. And your words had me in tears. Sure is a fabulous way to finish.

Kristin, I couldn’t agree more with you. What little treasures. I always tell my little man that he was worth all the tears, the journey and the wait. Nothing compares to being a mummy, especially when you have had to work so hard for it. This just makes these images all the more special and heart melting. Lovely work.

Wishing you all the best in the next chapter of your life. Can’t wait to see your gorgeous little bundle. Good Luck!
