Rebecca and Benn were married on a Sunday.
It was almost too perfect for words.
Rebecca wasn’t nervous or rushed.
She was calm, grounded and about to marry the man whom she described so perfectly as ‘generous and loving’.
She sipped champagne while Blanca finished her hair.
The girls laughed and thumbed through magazines.
When Rebecca finally slipped into her Alex Perry gown, there was a quiet in the room.
All of the planning, the effort and the preparation was all for the now, for this moment. It was a beautiful one.
As we drove to Stones of the Yarra Valley, my heart grew enormously in anticipation of what was to come.
They were married. There were smiles, laughter and tears.
We explored the breathless joy and precious celebration of love that unfolded that day.
The soulful, romantic, warm beauty of it all.
It was a beautiful day for a wedding.
