The gentle moments.
The sweet moments.
The still moments.
The beautiful moments.
Every moment is full of worth.

My gorgeous Miss Mia and Charlie Bucket share a room together, and always have since Charlie was born.
Mornings are welcomed with the sound of giggles, whispering and the rustling of covers as Mia climbs into the cot to play with Charlie.
The same counts when day naps are over.
There is so much fun to be had when your sibling is also your best friend.

Held | Newborn photography

“When I hold you I hold everything that is –
sand, time, the tree of the rain,
everything is alive so that I can be alive:
without moving I can see it all:
in your life I see everything that lives.”

- Pablo Neruda

If I could hear but one thing for the rest of my days, it would be the sound of this joy.
If I could see but one thing for the rest of my days, it would be this moment.
If I could feel but one thing for the rest of my days, it would be this love.
If I could be but one thing for the rest of my days, I would be as I am - your mama.

Grab, lift, shovel, swallow…
Grab, lift, shovel, swallow….

You squawk if you see us preparing food and you don’t get to have it immediately.
You will try and fit as much as you can in your mouth to save you having to come back for more later.
You are far less fussy than your sister when it comes to trying new things.
You refuse to let us feed you anymore.
And tonight, putting the bowl on the top of your head was your final cue to tell us you were done.

He’s strong, independent and agile.
After teaching himself how to climb a month or so ago, now nothing is sacred.
My heart aches with both joy and disbelief at this image – my Charlie boy is growing up.
