The weather was lovely… Mia’s mood was not. So what do I decide to do but to make my daughter sit through another session of me using her as a model to get some practice with.
Lucikly for me, I think the fact that she was bound to the Bumbo seat I had her in worked as she had no choice but to sit there and look at me (mwuaahahaa… I’m a mean mother) and I did actually manage to get a few smiles out of her! I decided to use the opportunity to practise white on white and was pretty happy with the exposure (no visible blowouts in the histogram but only a teensy bit after PPing I think…. ah well!)
So here she is dreading what’s coming next…
But then she realised it wasn’t too bad
And even started chatting to me…
… before she starting sucking on her bottom lip again (poor thing, I think her gums are bothering her a bit – it’s either sucking on her bottom lip or chewing on her fingers at the moment – non stop!)
We’ve also decided to go away to Barwon Heads overnight at the start of next week which I’m so excited about. I honestly cannot remember the last time we went away… (I’m thinking our honeymoon… and if that’s true, that’s very sad!) so even though only a short while, it will be nice to have a break
