I must admit that newborn sessions are one of my favourites. There is nothing better than being asked to photograph a brand new soul, freshly baked.
Every newborn session is different too. Sure, I might bring along my bag (and bags, and bags!) of tricks to try out, but no matter how well planned you want the day to go, its always the newborns who dictate how the photography session will go. That’s the way it is when you photograph a baby!
Today’s fresh face was Mikayla who behaved so beautifully, and loved her cuddles with mum. She was very patient with us and with the lovely Melbourne weather we had today, loved lying in front of the open doors outside with the breeze on her skin. I was worried she might get a bit cold, but she was boiling hot every time we moved her! Lucky for us the weather was our friend today!
