A new year, a new day, a new beginning. Welcome 2010 – you and I are going to get along just fine, I can feel it already 
For those who were following my blog a year ago, you may remember the personal Photo-A-Day project that I did with Miss Mia in January of 2009. The idea behind the project is just that – a photo a day for the month of January. I have to admit, those images are still my favourites to date of her and I am so pleased that I did it back then. Now, with two gorgeous kidlets of mine to photograph with the dear addition of Charlie boy, I’m hoping that this year will be even better to give me a beautiful opportunity to spend a whole month capturing them as they grow. I hope you enjoy them as much as me.
Day One: My cheeky Charlie boy. I looked at him today just before I took this shot and felt as if I was looking at him for the very first time. He looked so much like a little boy, and no longer the little newborn baby I only ‘just’ gave birth to. I feel like he’s already so old, and so big, and I can’t possibly imagine him getting any bigger (he will…!)
Then I look at Mia – she looks so much older still. I flipped through the beautiful album I made of her photos from this time last year. I just sat there, looking, admiring, smiling, crying. Then, I gave her a big hug. I think of all of the things she’s achieved in the last year – how much she’s made me laugh, smile and love.
Yes, 2010 is going to be a wonderful year.

My oh my – he does seem to have gotten big all of a sudden. He is so very gorgeous and am looking forward to enjoying the month with your gorgeous photo’s
gosh, he is growing up so damn quickly, Kristen, doesn’t it make you a little sad and happy at the same time? I can’t wait to see your photos from this year – I adored yours from last year. You rock, woman.
