Couldn’t ask for more | Newborn photographer, Melbourne

Ok, so it was still hot – boiling hot, but that just meant that this gorgeous, tiny little newborn baby slept beautifully for me the whole time I was there as he was so nice and toasty being in his birthday suit!

When I photographed Claire for her maternity session, I was itching to come back for her newborn session after William arrived. Knowing what was in store for me at their home, I couldn’t wait to try out all of the wonderful ideas I had in my head. When I can use gorgeous surrounds like this in client’s homes, it just makes on location photography work all the more rewarding.

And yes, I have gone completely overboard with sneak peeks, but really – can you help it when the subjects are this cute??

And just to show you the kind of dedication I give to my clients – yes I do still work in this temperature!! This was taken on the way home in my car (and no, I was not driving it at the same time!)

{What a perfect little angel he was Claire! I absolutely loved every minute of it and wish I could do it all over again. Thank you for having me capture such a precious moment in his life, and I can’t wait to see him grow up!}

    Love, love, love the first pic!!! They should put that on canvas above that dresser :) What a great session! I’ve also been enjoying your ‘photo-a-day’! they’re wonderful! Are you going to make it into a book at the end of the year? I love your processing on black and whites too.

    OH. MY. GOODNESS! Wonderful shots taking full advantage of the gorgeous decor! I bet you could have stayed there shooting all day (if it weren’t boiling hot!)! What a handsome baby boy he is! My favorite shot? The 4th one-looking down on baby nestled in a bowl.

    These are just gorgeous Kristen – love them all! Thank goodness it’s cooled down now. And love that yellow wall – Claire & Anthony, if you happen to read this, I’d love to know the paint colour name as I’m looking for a good yellow for my daughter’s bedroom :) ?

    Hi everyone, thanks for the lovely comments. I’m just so proud of my little man. Sorry, but I can’t for the life of me find the details of the paint colour. It’s fairly distinctive on the colour charts. From memory it was dulux colour (the renovation was done about 6 years ago so not sure if the colour is still available) Good luck though and thanks again for all the lovely comments about our son and our home
