She certainly does not get her love of puzzles from me.
They are one thing I do not have the patience for.
She, on the other hand, could spend hours (and has) putting her puzzles together, only to take them apart and start all over again.
Every piece has its place, every beginning has an end.

You had begged me to take you to see Tangled.
You bounced around at the prospect of popcorn, your own drink and your own seat.
Halfway through the movie, you climbed up onto my lap and you stayed there for the remainder of the film.
There wasn’t anywhere in the world I would rather have been.

Giggles can be heard as the water fills the tub.
A renewed energy crescendos as babies are stripped bare.
Bath time is fun, but nudey runs before bath are the icing on the cake.

It was such a long day today for my beautiful little people.
Driving, eating, playing, driving, napping, playing, eating, playing, eating…
They are so very good to me.
And still, even when it’s past his bedtime, Charlie Bucket flashes me a glance that makes me wish the hours in the day were just that little bit longer so I can soak up this beautiful day for a while more yet.
