The Jumping Bean and the Pixie

Two of the most adorable little sisters I’ve met – with two of the most adorable names to go with them!!

This was Anais, the little jumping bean…

She did stop for a rest, every now and again!

And her equally gorgeous sister, little pixie Amalie – can you say cuuuuuuute?!

I wanted to wrap her up and take her home with me (do you think her parents would notice??)

{Brenda, what a fun morning – your bedroom is DIVINE and worked so well. We should have just stayed in there all morning!! haha}

M is for Michael

My chubba bubba from yesterday – and how cooperative holding up his letter ‘M’ for me the way he did! Good boy!

Check out that cheeky smile…

{Thanks again for the mini muffins Laura – I’m well fed by my clients that’s for sure! LOL Enjoy your sneak peeks}

Another yummy mummy day

Poor Megan today had to sit there listening to me sniff and snot and splutter today (gross, so sorry again Megan!). Lucky for me though, the shoot today was at my place as Megan is a local (yay!).

With only 5 weeks to go before her due date, Megan was glowing. Loved meeting her happy, bright self and loved the opportunity to photograph her beautiful belly.

{See you again soon when the bubba arrives Megan – hope you enjoyed your session and felt comfortable, and that you like your sneak peeks}

Three in a row!

Yep, today was my third newborn session in a row. YIPPEEEE! I’m so clucky (urm… LUCKY… I mean LUCKY!! ;) )

Gorgeous little Lachlan was the star of the show today – I’ve been so lucky these past few sessions. Great sleepers, wonderful little posers and are more than happy to stop for a quick feed and go straight back to sleep/work. I love my cooperative little ones!

Would you believe this little one actually arrived 4 weeks early? You’d never know it – gorgeously plump and delicious he was!

{Melissa – what a gorgeous little thing you have there. Thanks for having me capture this moment in time for you, it was a pleasure to do so}

I hate being sick!!

Urgh…. I’m sick. I HATE being sick. Well, who likes being sick – but I feel like it’s been going on forever now and I want it gone. Last week I had a bout of gastro which knocked me for six and I thought the worst was over. Then after a few days, I fell ill again – now I’m sitting here with stuffed sinuses and a sore throat, unable to breathe properly while my darling Miss Mia also suffers the same fate. Everytime I get sick I seem to pass it onto her poor love. We had a horrible night last night – had maybe 2 hours of sleep (all unbroken) while I sat by her cot trying to calm her to sleep and let her know it was ok to breathe through her mouth. I hate being sick, but I hate it even more when she’s sick :(

Despite my illness, I’m still trying to plod along as usual (thanks to my lovely clients this week for still allowing me near their children!! And to my other VERY PATIENT clients for waiting on their proofs – I’m getting through them as quickly as humanly possible!!)

For example – today, I spent the most wonderful afternoon photographing little Oliver. He was just over a week old and an absolute picture of perfection for me today. He barely made a peep as we moved him around, didn’t mind being naked and best of all went straight back to sleep again after a nice feed! Good boy Oliver!

{What a pleasure it was photographing little Oliver for you this afternoon Carla – he was a dream! Thanks for allowing me to do so and enjoy your sneak peeks!!}

Little Hunter

I love my newborn sessions – but I love my maternity sessions that then turn into my newborn sessions even better! I finally got to meet little Hunter this week who was so snug and cosy in his mum’s tummy (doing the fine job that she was), that he just didn’t want to make an appearance!

Lucky for me though that I got to photograph him at just under a week old:

(T – if there are shortbreads like that at your place all the time, then feel free to invite me over more often! Thanks for the lovely day, and enjoy the sneak peeks of your little prince! I’m sorry for sounding like such a frog after losing my voice too, but what can you do?!}

The Oobi Cable Knit Beanie!

Yep, my favourite Oobi red beanie features again!

I want to wrap her up and keep her in my pocket everywhere I go, especially when I’m out working.

She’s my reason for breathing…

Ick…

Haven’t been feeling very well the last few days – it’s awful being sick. What makes it worse is when you’re a mum you can’t have just another 5 minutes in bed in the morning when you don’t feel well – the job is always going.

Added to that, running your own business means no sick days either – someone needs to tell my boss they’re a bit of a slave driver!!

Enough woe is me though, some sneak peeks I promised from Jonathan’s session on Sunday!

{Enjoy the sneak peeks Helen!}
