Newborn photography is Kristen's speciality and favourite age to photograph. Babies grow so quickly and so it is important to grab those 'newborn' photographs as quickly as possible. Kristen recommends having your newborn baby photographed at around one week of age in order to capture that fresh newborn look where they remain sleepy and curled up (and around 6-10 days of age is ideal). For newborn photography, the sleepier the better! Please contact Kristen with your estimated due date to tentatively book in a session, and then call after the baby has been born (even from the hospital if you wish) in order to secure your newborn photography session date. As a newborn photographer, Kristen strives to create beautiful works of art for you to enjoy for years and generations to come.
Once your little one is no longer a newborn, you no doubt still wish to capture them as they are. In conjunction with photographing your baby as a newborn, you may wish to also professionally photograph the next beautiful milestone in their first year. Lovely candid portraits taken at three monthly intervals can be a great idea as they show the way your child has developed over twelve months. Baby photos taken when your little one is six months to eight months can be beneficial as your baby is usually sitting and smiling all over the place, although baby photography can take place at any age.

That's why it's so important to invest in the preservation of memories to last a lifetime with professional children's photography. Whether it be in classic black and white or beautiful colour, your child should be captured as naturally as possible so that their wonderful and unique personality can shine through.
There is nothing more beautiful than the pregnant form. Pregnancy and maternity photographs can be taken in a modern, tasteful and relaxed setting. Pregnancy photography is best done in early-mid third trimester to show off your amazing bump in all its glory. Speak to Kristen about combining your maternity photography with newborn photography, and/or baby photography once your little baby has arrived!
